Dear House Freedom Caucus Member,

Congratulations on approving a budget resolution outline that contains everything Republicans committed to the voters during the November 2024 elections.  

Now voter expectations are even higher and the downside of disappointing them could be even steeper for Republicans in the 2026 elections if they do not make this happen.

The $8 billion budget expenditure reduction proposed by the Senate is barely a half of a percent of the $1.5 trillion expenditure reduction proposed by the House.  Certainly, the Senate needs to propose much larger budget expenditure reductions.

However, please don’t blow up the whole One Big, Beautiful Bill by proposing unrealistically large budget expenditure reductions.

Please make the campaign commitments Republicans made to millions of Americans who need tax relief and want border security and strong national security a top priority.  

Voter expectations of campaign commitments in the budget resolution are even higher now so do not blow it by proposing unrealistically large budget expenditure reductions.
